Headquarters has two Main Duties;
1. Serve the Needs of its "Precinct Generals".
2. Coordinate Activities to "VET, SELECT and ELECT" our candidates, within our group and other groups/agencies.
3. As needed, appoint "Captains". There are two Types...Organizational and Candidate.
4. Organizational "Captains" are appointed to assist in the management of the precinct Generals. In a small organization, these "Captains" will NOT be needed as the "Precinct Generals" will be given direct access to HQ.
5. But as the number of Generals grow, City (or District) Captains will be put in place to manage the needs and track the progress of all the "Precinct Generals" within each respective "Captains" City (District).
6. Candidate "Captains" for the various Candidates , for example a Candidate for a State Senate Dist will have a Candidate "Captain" appointed to him/her. The Candidate's only point of contact will be this Candidate "Captain"
--- In this example, it is the State Senate Dist' "Captain's" duty to make sure that all the Precinct Generals/City Captains within his/her District are supplied w/ literature and info regarding the State Senate Dist's Candidate.
7. The Candidate "Captain" may be the Candidate him/herself, if he/she is a member of the FTPP. If not, one will be appointed.
8. Candidate "Captains" will be needed for State Office Seats (Governor, Lt. Gov, Attny General, Senator, etc..), State Propositions and Local Measures.
--- Each Candidate "Captain" will be the sole contact for the Candidate to the FTPP.
--- Likewise, the Candidate "Captain" will be the sole Official contact for the FTPP to the Candidate.
--- The Candidate "Captain" has the duty to acquire material, info, signs, banners, etc..from the Candidate and distribute it the appropriate "Precinct Generals" and/or "City Captains".
--- The "Captain" is NOT FINANCIAL RESPONSIBLE for the printing/etc. of the brochures, signs, etc. But only responsible for the acquisition of that material from their respective Candidates.
The entire organization works to supply the Generals (and the Voters) with whatever they need to make sure their troops are well informed. The Generals are just one step away from the voter...and they have a personal connection.
